# Upload Media

> Uploads an audio, video or image file to a Spotify Ads account and returns the asset once Spotify finishes processing it

Uploads an audio, video or image file to a Spotify Ads account and returns the asset once Spotify finishes processing it. Files over 20MB are uploaded in chunks automatically. Use the returned asset id in spotify\_ads\_create\_ad.

## Inputs

| `media_url` | string | Yes | - | File to upload. Accepts a direct URL, a Google Drive share link (set to 'Anyone with the link'), or a Markifact uploaded file. Supported formats: MP3, WAV or OGG audio; MP4 or MOV video; PNG or JPG images. Files over 20MB are uploaded in chunks automatically, and the node waits for Spotify to finish processing before returning the asset id. |

## Output

Returns the created asset including id, name, asset\_type, status and media details such as duration, dimensions and aspect ratio.
