# Create Audience

> Creates a Spotify audience: a custom audience built from a customer list, website events tracked by a dataset or pixel, or engagement with your ads, or a lookalike audience grown from an existing one

Creates a Spotify audience: a custom audience built from a customer list, website events tracked by a dataset or pixel, or engagement with your ads, or a lookalike audience grown from an existing one. A CUSTOMER\_LIST audience starts empty; its members are uploaded separately.
