# Update Creative

> Advanced: partially updates a Snapchat creative (headline, CTA, attachment properties)

Advanced: partially updates a Snapchat creative (headline, CTA, attachment properties). WARNING: changes affect all ads using the creative and trigger re-review that pauses them. An ad's creative cannot be swapped; edit the creative or create a new creative and ad.

## Inputs

Editable fields per the Snapchat docs: name, brand\_name, headline, call\_to\_action, shareable, profile\_properties, and the attachment property objects (web\_view\_properties, app\_install\_properties, deep\_link\_properties, ad\_to\_call\_properties, ad\_to\_message\_properties). top\_snap\_media\_id can only be changed before the creative is part of an ad that has started serving. IMPORTANT: changing a creative affects ALL ads that use it; Snapchat re-reviews those ads and pauses them until approved. An ad's creative\_id itself cannot be changed; to point an ad at different content, create a new creative and a new ad instead.
