# Create Creative

Advanced: creates a Snapchat creative from a raw payload, for creative types without a dedicated operation (calls, messages, lenses, lead gen) and for Dynamic Product or Dynamic Collection creatives using render\_type DYNAMIC. Prefer the dedicated create\_\*\_ad operations for standard ads. Does not create an ad; chain with snapchat\_ads\_create\_ad\_from\_creative.

Use the dedicated operations first (snapchat\_ads\_create\_single\_image\_ad, snapchat\_ads\_create\_video\_ad, snapchat\_ads\_create\_story\_ad, snapchat\_ads\_create\_collection\_ad). Use this for Dynamic Product Ad or Dynamic Collection creatives by setting render\_type to DYNAMIC and providing dynamic\_render\_properties. Dynamic Collection creatives can reference resources created with snapchat\_ads\_create\_dynamic\_template, snapchat\_ads\_create\_creative\_elements, and snapchat\_ads\_create\_interaction\_zone. Also use this for creative types the dedicated operations do not support, such as AD\_TO\_CALL, AD\_TO\_MESSAGE, LENS types, LEAD\_GENERATION, or REMINDER. Required keys: name, type. Most types also need top\_snap\_media\_id (get one with snapchat\_ads\_upload\_media) and profile\_properties with a profile\_id. ad\_account\_id is filled in automatically and read-only fields are stripped.
