# Add Slide

> Add new blank slides to Google Slides presentations

Add new blank slides to Google Slides presentations. You can specify the position of the new slide

## Inputs

| `presentation` | string | Yes | - | Google Slides presentation URL or ID. You must ask the user for it if not provided. |
| `insertion_position` | string or SelectableOption | Yes | - | Where to place the new slide in the presentation. Available options: 'at\_beginning' - Add the slide at the beginning of the presentation 'at\_end' - Add the slide at the end of the presentation (DEFAULT & RECOMMENDED) 'custom\_position' - Add the slide at a specific position (requires custom\_position field) |
| `custom_position` | integer | No | - | Position where to insert the new slide (1-based indexing, starting from 1). REQUIRED when insertion\_position is 'custom\_position'. MUST BE NULL/EMPTY when insertion\_position is not 'custom\_position' - clear this field if insertion\_position changes. Must be a positive integer. Example: 1 for beginning, 3 for third position, etc. If the specified position exceeds the total number of slides, the slide will be placed at the end. |
