# Create Post

> Advanced: creates a Reddit ad post (the creative only, no ad) from a raw v3 post payload

Advanced: creates a Reddit ad post (the creative only, no ad) from a raw v3 post payload. Prefer the dedicated operations (reddit\_ads\_create\_single\_image\_ad, reddit\_ads\_create\_video\_ad, reddit\_ads\_create\_carousel\_ad, reddit\_ads\_create\_text\_ad) which create the post and ad together. Pair with reddit\_ads\_create\_ad.

## Inputs

Media URLs must be publicly reachable. thumbnail\_url is required for VIDEO posts; body is for TEXT posts.
