# Update Keywords

> Archives or restores Pinterest Ads keywords by ID

Archives or restores Pinterest Ads keywords by ID. Archiving a keyword effectively deletes it: it stops receiving metrics and disappears from the parent entity's keyword list. Keyword IDs come from pinterest\_ads\_list\_keywords or pinterest\_ads\_create\_keywords output.

| **Credits per run** | 1 |
| **Agent / MCP tool** | Yes |
| **Requires approval** | Yes (write operation) |

## Inputs

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `account` | DynamicAccount | Yes | - | Select Pinterest Ads account that owns the keywords. |
| `keywords` | array of object or string | Yes | - | Keyword updates as a JSON list matching the Pinterest keywords API. Each entry needs id (the keyword ID) and archived (true or false). Archiving a keyword effectively deletes it: it stops receiving metrics and disappears from the parent entity's keyword list; set archived to false to restore it. Keyword IDs come from pinterest\_ads\_create\_keywords output. Pinterest's bid field on keywords is deprecated and always ignored, so archived is the only updatable field. Up to 100 keywords per run. Example: \[\{"id": "383791336903426391", "archived": true}] |

## Output

**Fields**: `keyword_ids`, `updated_count`
