Analyze a URL with Google PageSpeed Insights: Lighthouse performance, SEO audit, accessibility and best practices scores, plus Core Web Vitals lab metrics and real user field data.

| | |
| - | - |
| **App** | PageSpeed Insights |
| **Operation ID** | `pagespeed_insights_analyze_url` |
| **Type** | Action |
| **Connection** | None |
| **Credits per run** | 1 |
| **Agent / MCP tool** | Yes |

## Inputs

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `url` | string | Yes | - | The URL to fetch and analyze (e.g. `https://example.com/page`). |
| `strategy` | enum (`MOBILE`, `DESKTOP`) | No | `MOBILE` | Device to emulate for the Lighthouse run. Defaults to MOBILE. |
| `categories` | array of string or SelectableOption | No | - | Lighthouse categories to run: PERFORMANCE, SEO, ACCESSIBILITY, BEST\_PRACTICES. Defaults to all four. Lab metrics are only returned when PERFORMANCE is included. |
| `detail_level` | enum (`metrics`, `insights`, `full`) | No | `metrics` | How much of the PageSpeed Insights response to return. All levels keep the raw API field names and structure. 'metrics' (default, \~5 KB): category scores, Core Web Vitals lab audits, and CrUX field data. 'insights' (\~50 KB): metrics plus every audit (without detail tables), for finding what to fix. 'full' (100 KB+): the raw API response with screenshot data removed. Prefer 'metrics' or 'insights'; only use 'full' when explicitly needed. |

### SelectableOption

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `value` | string | Yes | - | |
| `label` | string | Yes | - | |

## Output

**Type**: `Dict`

Mirrors the PageSpeed Insights API v5 response, pruned per detail\_level. Top-level keys: id, analysisUTCTimestamp, lighthouseResult (categories with 0-1 scores, audits, finalUrl), loadingExperience and originLoadingExperience (CrUX field data; note CrUX reports CLS multiplied by 100). Lab metrics live at lighthouseResult.audits.\<id>.numericValue for largest-contentful-paint, first-contentful-paint, total-blocking-time, cumulative-layout-shift, speed-index.

**Fields**: dynamic (depend on the inputs)

**Example**:

```json theme={"dark"}
{
  "id": "https://example.com/",
  "lighthouseResult": {
    "finalUrl": "https://example.com/",
    "categories": {
      "performance": {
        "score": 0.72
      }
    },
    "audits": {
      "largest-contentful-paint": {
        "displayValue": "3.1 s"
      }
    }
  },
  "loadingExperience": {
    "overall_category": "AVERAGE"
  }
}
