# Quick Preview Workspace

> Builds a temporary preview version from a Google Tag Manager workspace without creating a real version, and reports whether compiler errors occurred

Builds a temporary preview version from a Google Tag Manager workspace without creating a real version, and reports whether compiler errors occurred. Google returns only a true or false flag: the individual error messages and the affected tags, triggers, and variables are available in the Tag Manager interface only, not through the API. Useful as a dry run before gtm\_create\_version.
