# Enable Built In Variables

Enables built-in variables (e.g. pageUrl, clickClasses, event) in a Google Tag Manager workspace so tags and triggers can reference them.

## Inputs

Common values: pageUrl, pageHostname, pagePath, referrer, event, clickElement, clickClasses, clickId, clickTarget, clickUrl, clickText, formElement, formClasses, formId, formUrl, formText, errorMessage, errorUrl, containerId, containerVersion, randomNumber, htmlId, environmentName, scrollDepthThreshold, videoTitle, videoUrl. Built-in variables must be enabled before tags or triggers can reference them (e.g. \{\{Page URL}}). |
