# Update Post

> Updates an existing Facebook Page post: edit the text, reschedule a scheduled post, or publish a scheduled post immediately

Updates an existing Facebook Page post: edit the text, reschedule a scheduled post, or publish a scheduled post immediately. Media cannot be changed.

## Inputs

| `post_id` | string | No | - | ID of the post to update, in the pageid\_postid format returned by facebook\_list\_posts and facebook\_publish\_post. The post's media cannot be changed, only its text and schedule. |
| `message` | string | No | - | New text for the post. Leave empty to keep the current text. |
| `scheduled_publish_time` | string or integer or number | No | - | New publish time for a SCHEDULED post (reschedule). Accepts a unix timestamp in seconds, 'YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM' interpreted as UTC, or ISO 8601 with a timezone offset. Must be at least 10 minutes in the future. Only works on posts that are not yet published. |

## Output

Returns the updated post details and which fields were changed.

**Fields**: `post_id`, `post_url`, `page_id`, `page_name`, `updated`, `status`
