# Verify Site

> Asks Bing to verify ownership of a site already added to the account

Asks Bing to verify ownership of a site already added to the account. Bing's verification meta tag, XML file, or DNS record must be live first. Returns whether verification succeeded; a false result is a normal outcome, not an error.

The site must already be added to the account, and Bing's verification meta tag, XML file, or DNS record must be live before running this. |
