# List Inbound Links

> Lists inbound links Bing knows for a site

Lists inbound links Bing knows for a site. Without a URL: per-page inbound link counts for the whole site. With a specific page URL: the external URLs linking to that page with their anchor texts. Bing often returns no rows from this legacy endpoint even when crawl stats report inbound links, so an empty result does not mean the site has none.

| **App** | Bing Webmaster Tools |
| **Operation ID** | `bing_webmaster_list_inbound_links` |
| **Type** | Action |
| **Connection** | `bing_webmaster` (required) |
| **Credits per run** | 1 |
| **Agent / MCP tool** | Yes |

## Inputs

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `site` | DynamicAccount | Yes | - | Select the site whose inbound links should be listed. |
| `url` | string | No | - | Leave empty to get inbound link counts per page of your site (which pages have links and how many). Provide a specific page URL from your site to instead list the external URLs linking to that page with their anchor texts. |
| `filters` | array of FilterItem | No | - | Additional filters to apply. The available fields depend on the mode: - Without url: Url (your page), Count (number of inbound links) - With url: Url (the linking external page), AnchorText Filters are combined using AND logic. If you want to use OR logic, use relevant operators like REGEXP\_MATCH or IN\_LIST. |
| `limit` | integer | No | `1000` | Maximum number of rows to return. Default: 1000. |

### FilterItem

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `field` | string or SelectableOption | Yes | - | The field to filter on, must be one of the current selected metrics or dimensions. |
| `operator` | string | Yes | - | The operator to use for filtering. Must be one of the supported values. Use REGEXP\_MATCH to search/filter by multiple OR values like '.*(summer\|holiday).*' |
| `value` | string | Yes | - | The value to filter by, always as a string: text, a number, or a regex. For IN\_LIST and NOT\_IN\_LIST, pass the values as one comma-separated string such as 'a,b,c', not as an array. For regex values, escape backslashes once in the JSON string: write \b for a word boundary, not \b. |

### SelectableOption

| Field | Type | Required | Default | Description |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| `value` | string | Yes | - | |
| `label` | string | Yes | - | |

## Output

**Type**: `List[Dict]`

Without url: rows with Url (your page) and Count (inbound links). With url: rows with Url (linking external page), AnchorText, and TargetUrl (the page you asked about).

**Fields**: dynamic (depend on the inputs)

**Example**:

```json theme={"dark"}
[
  {
    "Url": "https://example.com/pricing",
    "Count": 128
  }
]
```
